Vacancy in Office
Any vacancy of the Governing Council office bearer/s or member/s shall be filled by the Governing Council for the remaining term or part thereof.
Governing Council
- Has general supervision of the affairs of the association between meetings.
- Shall fix the date, hour, and place of all meetings.
- Makes recommendations to the association.
- Adopt rules and methods as needed to carry on the business, provided such rules are not in conflict with these bylaws or any special rules of order or standing rules adopted by the association.
- Take up membership application/s for deliberation/s and decision/s.
- Take up financial bill/s or Proposals for deliberation and endorsement and/or sanction.
- shall Change the Office Address when circumstances demand and notify the same to all concerned and the authorities if so desired.
- Each member of the SGC shall at all times have access to all books and records and documents of then association.
- The Governing council shall take all necessary steps to submit documents, records, statements and reports within stipulated filing time to the Office of the Registrar of the Societies and/or the Income tax office or other offices.
- The SGC has the authority to decide on (with special provisions and rules) of making the Employees of the Corporate/ MNCs/any Organized sector or educational institution/s or institution/s of higher learning or any other institution, retired employee/s or the person/s of importance or ex-servicemen/woman as regular (active members) or honorary or any other special type of member/s or as the officer/s or office bearer/s of the Association with two-third majority of the present council members or the Quorum.
- The DGC /TGC can appoint any person/s of importance as a regular or honorary or any other special type of member/s or retired employee/s as the officer/s to their body (with special provisions and rules) with two-third majority of the present members or Quorum and shall communicate the same to all higher governing councils.
- All the Offices or Posts of the Governing body are of honorary nature.
- Perform such other duties as are specified in these bylaws or ordered by the association.
